bauma in Munich is the largest trade fair in the world - and it keeps growing from edition to edition. From 24 to 30 October 2022, 3,700 exhibitors will present their products and innovations for the construction, building materials and construction machinery industries on more than 600,000 m2 of exhibition space. In Hall B0, everything revolves around the 5 key topics of this year's bauma. Industry, science and start-ups will come together here and provide an all-round view of the current topics in the industry.
The XXL construction machines on the open-air site of bauma are notorious. Take a seat in one of the giant excavator shovels or marvel at the machines in action during the live demonstrations.

ACCOMMODATION IN MUNICH
Our tip for finding a hotel: Save money by not only looking for accommodation directly near the trade fair, but also in neighbouring districts such as Bogenhausen and Berg am Laim or neighbouring villages. You can find different kinds of accommodations on the following portals:
TRAVEL TO BAUMA
Whether by car, underground or bus - many roads lead to bauma.
BY CAR
The trade fair centre can be reached via the A 94 motorway. Simply take the München Riem exit (exit no. 5). Click here for parking facilities.
BY BUS AND TRAIN
If you have just landed in Munich by plane and want to continue directly to bauma, you can take the S-Bahn line S1 or S8 to the central station. From the central station, take the S2 line to the "Riem" stop. From there you can take bus 190 in the direction of Messestadt Ost to the stop Am Messesee (West Entrance) or Messestadt Ost (East Entrance).
If you are travelling to Munich by train, you can take advantage of the Deutsche Bahn special offer for bauma visitors.
BY UNDERGROUND
bauma is easily accessible by public transport. Simply take the U2 underground line and get off at Messestadt West or Messestadt Ost. Tickets for public transport can be bought directly at the stops or online.
Our tip: If possible, don't leave for the fair until 9:30 a.m. to avoid rush-hour traffic. More information on how to get to the fair by public transport can be found here.
